In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and storing incoming inventory according to established warehouse procedures and safety protocols. You will operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move products efficiently throughout the warehouse.
Your duties will include picking and packing orders for shipment, verifying accuracy against picking lists, and ensuring all items are properly labeled and prepared for dispatch. You will maintain detailed records of inventory movements and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accurate stock levels.
Collaboration with team members is essential, as you’ll work alongside fellow warehouse associates and supervisors to meet daily productivity targets. You will monitor warehouse conditions, report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately, and maintain a clean, organized workspace to prevent accidents and optimize workflow.
Attention to detail is paramount; you’ll verify shipments, cross‑reference documentation, and ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. You may also be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, stacking pallets, and organizing products by category, size, or destination. Your flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities will be valued as warehouse operations often require rapid adjustments based on demand fluctuations.
Must‑HaveRequirements
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and demonstrated experience working in a warehouse or similar logistics environment. Physical capability is essential, as this role involves standing, walking, lifting, bending, and carrying items weighing up to fifty pounds regularly throughout your shift.
A valid driver’s license is required, and a clean driving record is preferred. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification quickly is highly advantageous. You must demonstrate strong organizational skills, the ability to follow detailed instructions, and proficiency with warehouse management systems and basic computer applications.
Reliability and punctuality are non‑negotiable; you must be able to commit to consistent attendance and meet established shift schedules. Safety awareness is critical—you should understand the importance of following OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols without exception. You must possess excellent communication skills, work effectively as part of a team, and be responsive to supervisor guidance.
