Forklift Operator – 3rd Shift | Automotive Logistics | $19/hr

You'd be running equipment inside one of the busiest logistics operations supporting automotive manufacturing in the Smyrna, TN area, and the materials you move keep an entire production line running. This isn't a role where you're wondering if your shift accomplished anything. Every trailer you unload, every part you deliver line‑side, every count you confirm, it all feeds directly into keeping production on schedule.

Most forklift postings are interchangeable. This one isn't. You're stepping into a high‑volume, high‑visibility logistics operation, not a slow back‑of‑house warehouse, so there's constant activity and variety in the work. The schedule is fixed, Sunday through Thursday nights, so you're not getting jerked around week to week. There's a genuine temp‑to‑perm track, not just a vague promise. And because the facility runs at real scale, there's room to cross‑train onto additional equipment, like reach trucks, building your skill set and your resume at the same time.

• Operate sit‑down counterbalance forklifts and/or reach trucks to move, stage, and transport automotive parts and materials throughout the facility
• Load and unload trailers and containers
• Pull and deliver parts to line‑side and warehouse locations to keep production supplied
• Perform pre‑shift equipment inspections and complete required documentation
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure proper labeling and placement of materials
• Work safely in a high‑traffic warehouse and production support environment, following all safety protocols and PPE requirements

• Prior forklift operating experience required, sit‑down counterbalance; reach truck experience is a plus
• Current forklift certification, or the ability to obtain on‑site certification
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing and logistics environment
• Strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to safety
• Ability to stand, walk, and operate equipment for the full duration of a shift
• Reliable attendance and punctuality; this role supports an active production line
• Experience in automotive, warehouse, or logistics environments is a plus

$19.00/hour. Temporary‑to‑permanent opportunity. Fully onsite, 3rd shift, Sunday through Thursday, 9 PM to 7 AM.

Smyrna, TN. Onsite position, no travel required.
