Schedule:

Monday - Saturday | Start time varies between 5 - 7 AM | 6 - 10-hour shifts

Looking for Forklift Operator jobs in Smyrna where your equipment skills keep warehouse operations moving? This opportunity lets you safely transport materials, support inventory movement, and help maintain efficient warehouse and distribution operations.

Assists in all shipping and receiving operations and will also help on the floor with general warehouse duties such as put away, staging, palatalizing.

This opportunity is based on a Forklift Operator career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Minimum of six months of recent experience operating a stand-up forklift, ideally within a distribution warehouse setting
• Familiarity with bills of lading, invoices, and shipping orders is a plus

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds throughout the entire shift
• Ability to stand, bend and move throughout the warehouse for the duration of the shift
• Comfortable performing general labor duties both on and off the forklift

• Operate a stand-up forklift to support daily shipping, receiving and general warehouse operations
• Assist with put away, staging and palletizing throughout the warehouse
• Compare tracking control numbers and count, weigh and measure incoming and outgoing shipments
• Use bills of lading, invoices, orders and other records as trained and directed
• Record receipt of incoming materials and equipment
• Prepare products and materials for shipment, including assembling or selecting shipping containers and packing with spacers, fillers and protective padding
• Close and seal packages for shipment
• Examine outgoing shipments to confirm they meet specifications
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
• Perform general labor functions as needed, on and off the forklift
