Kids 'R' Kids Learning Academy #33 is seeking a dedicated, nurturing, and energetic Assistant Georgia Pre‑K Teacher to join our team. We are a 3‑Star Quality Rated program committed to providing a high‑quality early childhood education experience that prepares children for kindergarten success.

Responsibilities- Assist the Lead Georgia Pre‑K Teacher in implementing the Georgia Pre‑K curriculum and daily lesson plans.
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
- Supervise children during classroom activities, playground time, meals, and transitions.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
- Observe and document children's progress as directed by the Lead Teacher.
- Ensure compliance with all Bright from the Start, Georgia Pre‑K, and Kids 'R' Kids policies and procedures.
- Candidates must meet Georgia Pre‑K Assistant Teacher requirements and possess one of the following:
- Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential;
- Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) in Early Childhood Education;
- Associate Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field;
- Be actively enrolled in an approved program leading to one of the above credentials.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass the Bright from the Start comprehensive background check.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day.
- Previous experience working in a Georgia Pre‑K classroom.
- Knowledge of GELDS (Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards).
- Experience with classroom documentation and child assessments.
