Neonatal Nurse Practitioner; PT

We are seeking a per diem, experienced neonatal nurse practitioner to join our team of highly experienced, board-certified neonatologists and NNPs at Piedmont Eastside Medical Center and Emory Decatur Hospital.

• Our unit is an 18-bed Level‑III NICU that cares for over 200 premature babies annually
• NNPs work in‑house 24/7. Responsibilities will include providing medical management of critically ill neonates and NBN care
• Eastside Medical Center, a Piedmont facility, is a rapidly growing OB service line with over 1,000 deliveries a year
• The OB nursing team at Eastside has many years of practical experience, as well as in‑service education, that maintains and updates their knowledge on mother/baby care
• Eastside is a 310‑bed multi‑campus system that offers comprehensive medical and surgical programs, including cardiovascular, neurosciences, oncology, orthopedics, rehabilitation, behavioral health, bariatric and 24‑hour emergency care

• Our practice is a 42‑bed Level‑III NICU with an average daily census of 27
• NNPs provide 24/​hour in‑house coverage
• Subspecialty coverage is available
• NICU support services include neonatal respiratory therapy, physical and occupational therapies and audiology services
• In addition to the prestigious “Baby‑Friendly” designation, Emory Decatur Hospital was awarded a 5‑STAR Hospital Recognition from the Georgia Department of Public Health in 2015

• Current APRN national specialty certification
• Minimum of a master’s degree
• GA license required
