Piedmont Eastside is a 310-bed, multi-campus system of care offering comprehensive medical and surgical programs including cardiovascular, neurosciences, oncology, orthopedics, robotic surgery, rehabilitation, maternity with neonatal intensive care, behavioral health, bariatric, urgent care, and 24‑hour emergency care at two locations.

The Progressive Care Unit bridges the gap between the Intensive Care Unit and the medical‑surgical units, providing high‑intensity nursing care. You will work in a positive, collaborative environment alongside dedicated team members, supported by state‑of‑the‑art technology that strengthens patient care and services. Participation in clinical research and other medical advances is encouraged.

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care.
• Demonstrate professional growth and accountability within the framework of organizational policies and procedures.
• Maintain standards of practice.
• Coordinate patient‑care activities of all assigned staff to provide quality nursing care.

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New graduates of a nursing program eligible.
• Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
• BLS certification required.
• For PRN positions:
  One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting is required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Advanced certification in a field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum).
