Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care across a diverse patient population, from infants to geriatrics. The RN will work in a fast-paced environment, managing a variety of clinical tasks and ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions to deliver appropriate emergency interventions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies following established protocols.
• Document patient information accurately using Epic and Pyxis systems, ensuring seamless communication via SBAR.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance standards, including BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Float to sister campus when required, maintaining flexibility within assignment parameters.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in Georgia or a Compact state.
• Minimum of 1 year of ER experience; first-timers not accepted.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Proven ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Able to work in a high-volume environment with a patient ratio of 1:4.
