The Material Handler position focuses on producing high-quality, detail-oriented work by following established standards, procedures, and guidelines. This role requires patience and the ability to complete tasks methodically, ensuring error-free and consistent output. The work environment is stable and structured, with step-by-step training and supportive coaching from management and peers. Success in this role is measured by accuracy, adherence to regulations, and timely task completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fulfill transfer orders from other branches, maintaining organized tracking of materials and inventory.
• Load and unload transfer shipments according to scheduled times to ensure timely delivery.
• Process, tag, and stage materials for placement in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
• Conduct regular cycle counts of assigned areas to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Perform daily housekeeping duties in assigned work areas, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to safety standards.
• Assist in all warehouse operations and delivery duties as needed, contributing to team efficiency.
• Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the leadership team or senior management.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with an approved clean driving record.
• Forklift certification is preferred, but not required.
• A clean history with no drug or alcohol abuse.
• Must provide a current health card.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to climb, crouch, and grasp materials as needed.
• Clear verbal communication skills and the ability to listen attentively.
