Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Building Administrator and classroom teacher, is responsible for supporting the elementary educational process. Please refer to attached job description for specific responsibilities.

Special Duties/Responsibilities:
This position will support the kindergarten program.

Salary Range: $26.43 - $30.09 Para educator A per 2025-26 Public School Employees Salary Schedule

Above pay rates does not include holiday and pay in lieu of vacation, which increases the hourly compensation.

Work Schedule:

* This is a temporary position through the end of the  school year.

* Paid

Hours:

6.0 hours per day

* Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.

- 3:00 p.m.

* Lunch Break: 30 minutes unpaid break

* Calendar: 9 months/year

Qualifications:

* Be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent, and meet one (1) of the following:

* Have received a score of 455 on the ETS Para Pro (https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).),or a qualifying score on the Pearson Paraprofessional assessment or Master Teacher Inc. Para educator Training Program;

* Hold an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university; or

* Have earned 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at the 100 level or higher at an accredited college or university.

* Upon hire, must complete the Fundamental Course of Study (FCS)-Para educator Certificate.

* Ability to meet the qualifications as listed on the job description for this position.
