Job Summary:
Under the direction of the school Principal, the counselor is responsible for performing general counseling functions. The school counselor fills a critical role in ensuring that every student receives the time and support needed to learn at high levels and to access and surpass grade-level learning. The school counselor provides a data-informed, proactive, and responsive intervention systems based upon relationships. The counselor will aim programs and services at promoting student social-emotional and classroom success.
Specific responsibilities for this position are as described on the attached job descriptions.
Salary Range: $75,242 - $149,387 per the Snohomish Education Association Total Compensation Salary Schedule (anticipated increase for the 2026-27 school year). Placement on the salary schedule is determined by official documentation verifying educational level and work experience. Salary will be prorated for less than a full-year and/or part-time employees.
Contract:
180-days, includes 12 sick and 3 personal days per year (prorated for less than a full year school year)

Certification/License:
Valid WA State ESA Certification as required for position.
Education:
Bachelors from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching/educational staff associate assignment.
