Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Building Administrator is responsible for supporting the elementary educational process. Specific responsibilities for this position are as described on the attached job description.
Special Duties/Responsibilities:
Duties may include recess and/or lunch supervision, student support in classrooms and student supervision during dismissal.
Salary Range: $26.43 - $30.09 Para educator A per 2025-26 Public School Employees Salary Schedule.
Above pay rates do not include holiday and pay in lieu of vacation, which increases the hourly compensation.

* Calendar: 9 months/year; enjoy time office during spring break, winter break and summer, plus 10 paid holidays.
Qualifications:
* Be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent, and meet one (1) of the following:
* Have received a score of 455 on the ETS Para Pro (https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).),or a qualifying score on the Pearson Paraprofessional assessment or Master Teacher Inc. Para educator Training Program;
* Hold an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university; or
* Have earned 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at the 100 level or higher at an accredited college or university.
* Upon hire, must complete the Fundamental Course of Study (FCS)-Para educator Certificate.
* Ability to meet the qualifications as listed on the job description for this position.
