Job Summary:

This is a 1.0 FTE continuing contract position for a Business and Marketing Teacher and DECA Advisor beginning in the  school year. Under the direction of the Principal or District Administrator, is responsible for establishing, planning, developing, and preparing learning objectives and standards for assigned academic and enrichment subject areas and grade levels, to teach and instruct students to promote student achievement, to provide guidance and counsel, supervision, and discipline to students, and to assess and evaluate student performance and progress to enhance effective learning.

Specific responsibilities for this position are as described on the attached job descriptions.

Special Duties/Responsibilities: DECA Co-Curricular Club Adviser stipend $3,095 - $3,712 dependent on experience.

Salary Range: $78,616 - $156,126 per the  Snohomish Education Association Total Compensation Salary Schedule. Placement on the salary schedule is determined by official documentation verifying educational level and work experience. Salary will be prorated for less than a full-year and/or part-time employees.

Contract:

180-days, includes 12 sick and 3 personal days per year (prorated for less than a full school year)

Qualifications:

* Valid State of Washington teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement.

* Possess and maintain a valid First Aid and CPR certification for duration of employment with the District when required for position by Board Policy.
