Job Summary

This is a 1.0 FTE continuing contract position for a Business and Marketing Teacher and DECA Advisor beginning in the  school year. Under the direction of the Principal or District Administrator, the teacher is responsible for establishing, planning, developing, and preparing learning objectives and standards for assigned academic and enrichment subject areas and grade levels, to teach and instruct students to promote student achievement, to provide guidance and counsel, supervision, and discipline to students, and to assess and evaluate student performance and progress to enhance effective learning.

Specific responsibilities are described in the attached job descriptions.

Special Duties/Responsibilities

DECA Co‑Curricular Club Adviser stipend $3,095 - $3,712 dependent on experience.

Salary Range

$78,616 - $156,126 per the  Snohomish Education Association Total Compensation Salary Schedule.

Contract

180 days, includes 12 sick and 3 personal days per year (prorated for less than a full school year).

Endorsement Required

CTE Business and Marketing

Qualifications
  • Valid State of Washington teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement.
  • Possess and maintain a valid First Aid and CPR certification for the duration of employment with the District when required.

Applicants are responsible for determining that they have the appropriate endorsement and current Washington State certification for the position.
