Job SummaryThis is a 1.0 FTE non‑continuing, leave replacement, High School Counselor position (grades 9‑12). Under the direction of the Principal, the High School Counselor is responsible for planning, organizing and delivering a comprehensive school guidance and counseling program that personalizes education and supports, promotes and enhances the academic, personal, social and career development of all students. Specific responsibilities for this position are as described on the attached job description.
SalaryRange
$75,241 - $149,387 (anticipated increase for the 2026‑2027 school year) per the Snohomish Education Association Total Compensation Salary Schedule. Placement on the salary schedule is determined by official documentation verifying educational level and work experience. Salary will be prorated for less than a full‑year and/or part‑time employees.
Dates of AssignmentSeptember 1, 2026 - January 22, 2027
Special Duties/ResponsibilitiesProvide social, emotional, academic and graduation requirements counseling.
Certificate RequiredESA School Counselor. Applicant is responsible for determining that they have the appropriate and current Washington State certification for the position.
