Job Summary: This is a 1.0 FTE continuing contract position for a Special Education Early Childhood TOSA (Teacher on Special Assignment) beginning in the school year. Under the direction of the Executive Director of Special Education, is responsible for providing staff development, individual early childhood program development and assessment supports, positive behavior intervention/management, Transition Center coordination and support meetings with staff and families.
Specific responsibilities for this position are as described on the attached job description.
Salary Range: $78,616 - $156,126 per the Snohomish Education Association Total Compensation Salary Schedule. Placement on the salary schedule is determined by official documentation verifying educational level and work experience. Salary will be prorated for less than a full-year and/or part-time employees.
Contract: 180-days plus 15 extra days, includes 12 sick and 3 personal days per year (prorated for less than a full year)

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Arts/Master of Education in special education
- Valid Washington State teaching certificate with a special education endorsement
- Teaching experience in early childhood special education
- At least three years of coaching and/or teacher leadership preferred
