This is a 1.0 FTE continuing contract position for a Sixth Grade Teacher. Under the direction of the Principal, the elementary teacher is responsible for fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for students in our elementary schools. The position may include, but is not limited to, the responsibilities, qualifications, knowledge, skills, and abilities that align with the Charlotte Danielson Framework for Teaching.
Specific responsibilities are as described on the attached job description.
$78,616 – $156,126 per the 2026‑2027 Snohomish Education Association Total Compensation Salary Schedule. Placement on the salary schedule is determined by official documentation verifying educational level and work experience. Salary will be prorated for less than a full‑year and/or part‑time employees.
Contract180‑days, includes 12 sick and 3 personal days per year (prorated for less than a full school year).

Qualifications- Valid State of Washington teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement.
- Possess and maintain a valid First Aid and CPR certification for the duration of employment with the District when required for the position by Board Policy.

Generally, you are eligible for SEBB benefits if you are anticipated to work at least 630 hours per school year (September 1 through August 31).
