HR/Payroll Coordinator

Snohomish Health & Rehabilitation is seeking an HR/Payroll Coordinator who is passionate about supporting employees, partnering with facility leadership, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Collaborate closely with the CEO and CNO, providing day-to-day HR support, guidance, and problem-solving.

Maintain knowledge of employment laws, regulations, policies, and HR best practices to help ensure compliance and consistency.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Recruiting, onboarding, and employee support
  • HR compliance and personnel record management
  • Assisting with employee relations and leave administration
  • Supporting retention, engagement, and training initiatives
  • Partnering with leadership on workforce needs and HR strategy
  • Bi-weekly payroll processing
Qualifications:
  • HR, business, or related experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Requirements Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.
Licenses/Certification
  • PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
Experience
  • One year human resources and/or payroll experience required;
    Six months experience in a health care environment preferred.
