Courier Role at Providence at Home with Compassus

As a Courier, you're not just driving routes, you're an essential link in the chain of compassionate care. You'll be the face of our organization to provider offices across the region, building relationships that make our patients' lives better.

What You'll DoOn the Road
- Pick up and deliver medical records and orders from provider offices, maintaining professionalism and a timely, organized approach on every route
- Maintain chain of custody for all documents using a manifest and/or mobile app/scanner
- Keep your vehicle safe, professional, and road-ready at all times
In the Field
- Verify that medical orders are accurate, signed, and dated — your attention to detail directly supports patient care
- Build genuine, lasting relationships with provider office staff, positioning our agency as the home health partner of choice
- Act as a trusted liaison between our marketing and operations teams, helping resolve order issues quickly
Behind the Scenes
- Track orders, follow up proactively, and flag any route or order concerns to dispatch or your supervisor right away
- Uphold HIPAA and confidentiality standards at every step
- High school diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree a plus)
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
- Customer service experience — healthcare or medical records background is a strong plus
- Prior courier or delivery driving experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and comfort managing multiple tasks independently
- Great interpersonal skills; you're someone providers and colleagues genuinely enjoy working with
- Comfort with GPS navigation and mobile app
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The demands of this role necessitate a team member to effectively perform essential functions. Adaptations can be made to accommodate team members with disabilities. Regular standing, walking, and manual dexterity are fundamental, along with the ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds. Visual acuity requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Compensation range: $16.66-$21.94
The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities
