Operations Manager – Pest Control
Snohomish Pest Control is hiring an experienced Operations Manager to help lead field service, customer experience, scheduling support, technician standards, inventory, and daily operations for a growing local pest control company. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone with an active pesticide license, pest control management experience, and the desire to help build something long term.

We provide residential and commercial pest control services focused on honest recommendations, quality work, clear communication, and long‑term customer relationships. We are growing from a small local operation into a stronger, more structured company with clear leadership and consistent service standards.
CompensationSalary range: $65,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on experience and fit. Compensation may include a base salary plus performance‑based bonus opportunities tied to service quality, customer satisfaction, route execution, team leadership, recurring service growth, and overall operational impact.
About the RoleThe Operations Manager will oversee field service, technician standards, scheduling support, customer experience, inventory, equipment, and daily operational follow‑through. This role involves performing pest control services in the field while focusing on leadership, preventing problems, supporting the office, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Perform residential and commercial pest control services
- Lead by example in the field with high‑quality service and customer communication
- Help keep daily schedules on track
- Support office communication and coordination as needed
- Help train and support technicians
- Maintain truck cleanliness, equipment standards, and inventory levels
- Read job notes before service and complete clear service reports
- Handle customer questions and service concerns professionally
- Identify recurring service opportunities
- Ask satisfied customers for reviews
- Help prevent callbacks, missed details, and operational surprises
- Communicate supply needs, scheduling issues, and customer concerns early
- Help build systems that make the company more consistent and less owner‑dependent
- Pest control field experience
- Experience managing, leading, or helping operate a pest control company
- Strong knowledge of residential pest control
- Rodent control experience
- Comfortable working in crawlspaces and performing hands‑on pest control work
- Organized, dependable, and able to follow through
- Able to lead technicians and uphold service standards
- Comfortable working with both field staff and office staff
The right person is experienced, steady, honest, organized, and good with people. They understand that great pest control is not just about treating pests but earning trust, communicating clearly, solving problems, and taking care of customers well. They are comfortable leading from the field, setting standards for other technicians, supporting the office team, and helping prevent problems before they reach the owner.
For the right individual, this role has potential to grow into a larger leadership position such as General Manager, Branch Manager, Operating Partner, or future ownership opportunity.
