Overview

Responsibilities
  • Develop, document, and improve manufacturing processes. Create process plans and equipment designs, and document process validations. Perform product and process verifications and validations.
  • Propose, simulate, design, test, and implement improvements to our existing products with a focus on cost and quality.
  • Maintain bills of materials, drawings, specifications, labels, licenses, and associated changes.
  • Resolve obsolescence and supply chain shortages through component selection or design change.
  • Have a good understanding of testing methods and limitations: flying probes, boundary scan, in‑circuit, optical, functional testing.
  • Complete root cause and failure analysis for field failure problems related to the design or manufacturing of the product.
  • Understand circuit schematics and debug problems to root cause issues.
  • Review nonconformity (NMRs) and work with QA & supply chain to determine how to address it, including potential rework instructions to bring to conformity.
  • Maintain the integrity and quality of our products, ensuring conformance to specifications and compliance with all regulatory requirements, including FDA, MDD, UL, CSA, etc.

  • Report quality problems or defects to the manager or senior management to facilitate corrective action and prevent recurrence.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience; or Master’s degree with at least three (3) years of relevant experience; or PhD with relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, including eleven (11) or more years of related experience in place of a degree.
  • Related experience in the medical device field is required.
  • Knowledge of medical product release processes into manufacturing, including verification and validation (IQ, OQ, PQ, TMV) is required.
  • Knowledge of component specifications and use parameter filters for alternate part selections is preferred.
  • Experience in electronics design is preferred.
  • Experience working positively and productively in a team environment; highly collaborative.
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding time frames.
  • Problem‑solving skills and organized work methods with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision.
Benefits

Pay may range $100,000 to $117,000 annually. The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job‑related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.

Base salary is one component of the total rewards package. Eligible employees may receive long‑term incentives, discretionary bonuses, and the option to purchase company stock through the Employee Stock Purchase Program. Comprehensive benefits include health plans, 401(k) retirement plan, health savings account, disability insurance, life insurance, AD&D insurance, leave of absence programs, and various voluntary benefits. Paid time off is offered for vacation, holidays, bereavement, and jury duty.

Full‑time salaried employees are entitled to flexible time‑off.
