Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (Early Supports/Birth-3)
Compensation: $78,936 - $114,275 annually
* depending on experience and hours/week ($37.95 - $54.94 per hour)

Our ESIT (Early Support for Infants and Toddlers) Team is hiring a Pediatric Speech‑Language Pathologist to work with children birth to three and their families. Join our team of providers and partner with families to build healthy foundations and a community where all children thrive.
Working with a team of providers offering transdisciplinary care in a community that connects with, encourages, and builds relationships with one another.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Caseload Management/Record Keeping- Develop on‑going individualized goals and regular progress reports.
- Complete written daily treatment notes, evaluation reports, and billing in a timely manner.
- Monitor and track caseload requirements with new referrals.
- Participate in staff development/training opportunities.
- Maintain high standards of confidentiality, attendance, and flexibility, while working cooperatively with supervisors, other employees, and families.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Provide developmental supports to children and families, encouraging parent participation during services to prioritize parent involvement and training.
- Provide parent/family coaching support.
- Evaluate children across developmental domains for program qualification and ongoing assessment needs.
- Include parents in decision‑making opportunities during visits and progress report/reassessment periods.
- Participate with team members on a regular basis and provide transdisciplinary consultations with other providers as needed.
- Utilize and promote practices that align with the best available current evidence and research to support positive outcomes for children and families.
- Demonstrate a desire to identify, gain knowledge in, and awareness of individual experiences and systemic barriers and inequities that impact ESIT families/caregivers and children in underserved populations centered around race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, belief systems, physical/mental/neurodevelopment differences, marital status, and gender.
- Commitment to the Encompass Culture Charter.
- Supervise interns and Clinical Fellows as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required- Graduate of an accredited Speech‑Language Pathology program with a valid Washington State License.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF) working toward certification.
- Pass Washington State DSHS criminal history and background check and FBI fingerprint check if not in state for more than the past three years.
- Infant and child CPR, first aid, and blood borne pathogens training within 90 days of hire.
- Valid Washington State driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
- Early Intervention experience.
- At least one year of pediatric experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This is an active job requiring lifting up to 25-30 lbs., frequently squatting, sitting on the floor, and actively working with young children.
