Job Description
The Powder Coating team plays a crucial role in preparing product surfaces for final coating and painting using various tools. This involves applying coatings, operating machines, and ensuring the high quality of metal door and frame system surfaces. The Powder Coat Processor is tasked with ensuring thorough and proper surface preparation, guaranteeing that coating coverage, thickness, and curing meet manufacturing standards and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Prepare product surfaces for final coating and painting.
- Apply coatings and operate machines effectively.
- Ensure high quality of metal door and frame system surfaces.
- Maintain coating coverage, thickness, and curing to meet manufacturing standards.
Essential Skills
- Experience with production processes and manufacturing.
- Skill in sandblasting.
- Proficiency in powder coating and paint preparation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with powder coating is advantageous.
- Experience with production paint is beneficial.
- Experience with sandblasting is helpful.
- Ability to identify differences in color.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Snoqualmie, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
