Plant Maintenance

Cal Portland seeks a Plant Maintenance professional to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at our mining and materials production facilities. Responsibilities include performing preventive and corrective maintenance on crushers, conveyors, pumps, and related systems; diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues; and documenting work in a CMMS. You will support safe, reliable operations, follow strict safety and environmental standards, and collaborate with operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair plant equipment including crushers, conveyors, and pumps
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues
• Use CMMS to document work, track parts, and plan maintenance activities
• Follow and enforce safety, environmental, and lockout/tagout procedures
• Collaborate with operations staff to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption
• Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and technical drawings
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and improvements
• Operate forklifts, lifts, and rigging equipment safely
• Support continuous improvement of plant reliability and maintenance practices
