We are a heavy civil general contractor in Arizona, Utah, and Colorado. We are seeking a candidate with asphalt expertise to join our team in Arizona.

Position:
Permanent Asphalt Project Engineer or Project Manager. The role oversees and manages asphalt projects from inception to completion in a fast‑paced, challenging, and rewarding environment.

• Oversee and manage all aspects of asphalt construction projects, including planning, coordination, and execution.
• Manage and negotiate change orders, ensuring all changes are documented and approved.
• Develop and manage project budgets, monitoring expenses to keep projects within budget.
• Supervise subcontractor activities, ensuring their work aligns with project goals and standards.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders—including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams—to ensure smooth project execution.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols on all project sites.
• Regularly report on project status, including progress, risks, and issues, to senior management.

• Minimum 2-7 years of experience in the construction industry, with experience in asphalt paving.
• Solid knowledge of heavy civil construction processes.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets.
• A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• A commitment to safety and quality.

• Salary: $75,000 - $130,000 per year (DOE).
