Electronics Technician I – Snyder, TX

Position Type:
Full‑Time, Non‑Exempt.

Work Location:

Snyder, TX.

• Perform system maintenance and operations of range systems and facilities.
• Replace components and wire circuits.
• Repair simple electronic equipment.
• Conduct test readings with instruments such as digital millimeters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.

• Work performed outdoors and indoors.
• Climbing ladders, working in elevated areas and confined spaces, and handling high‑voltage and radio‑frequency circuits.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Physical dexterity and flexibility required – able to sit, stand, kneel, and climb.
• Overtime may be required to support operations.

• Associate’s degree in electronics or a certificate from an accredited technical school, or equivalent military technical training.
• Minimum 2‑3 years’ experience with electronic combat range systems highly desired.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Basic understanding of Windows‑based PCs and documentation of maintenance actions.
• Experience with JTE Joint Threat Emitter, MST‑T1A/MUTES, MST‑T1(V)/Mini‑MUTES, and Visual/IR targets helpful.
• Experience with ground radar, satellite tracking/radio and antenna positioning systems, and high‑power transmitters (TWTs or magnetrons) beneficial.
• Current driver’s license required; must be insurable under company vehicle insurance while driving work/government/rental vehicles during hours of employment.
• U.S. citizenship required and must obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance prior to hire and throughout employment.
• All candidates must pass background screening including SSN, driver record, and criminal investigation.
