Position Overview

Job Title: Electronics Technician I

Position Type: Full‑Time, Non‑Exempt

Work Location: Snyder, TX

Responsibilities
  • Perform systems maintenance and operations of range systems and facilities.
  • Replace components and wire circuits.
  • Repair simple electronic equipment.
  • Conduct test readings using instruments such as digital multimeters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
Work Conditions
  • Work may be performed outdoors and indoors, requiring the ability to climb ladders, work in elevated areas and confined spaces, and handle high‑voltage and radio‑frequency circuits.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted and perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, kneeling, and climbing.
  • Overtime may be required to support operations.
Requirements
  • Associate’s degree in electronics or a certificate from an accredited technical school, or equivalent military technical training.
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience working on electronic combat range systems highly desired.
  • Ability to read and write English.
  • Basic understanding of Windows‑based PC operation and documentation of maintenance actions.
  • Experience with JTE Joint Threat Emitter, MST‑T1A/MUTES, MST‑T1(V)/Mini‑MUTES, and visual/IR targets valuable.
  • Experience with ground radar, satellite tracking/radio, antenna positioning systems, and high‑power transmitters using TWTs or magnetrons beneficial.
  • Current driver’s license required; ability to be insured under the company’s vehicle insurance policy while operating work vehicles.
  • U.S. citizenship required; must obtain a DoD Security Secret Clearance prior to hire and maintain it throughout employment.
  • All candidates must pass a consumer report, driver record, and criminal background investigation.
