Our client is looking for a caring, nurturing, and energetic full-time Early Childhood Teacher to join their premier preschool in Socorro, NM. The ideal candidate must be willing to work with children 6-months to 5-years-old; as well as be comfortable with diapering and toilet training.
- This is a Direct Hire position with the school
- Full-Time;
Monday-Friday; year-round employment
- Floater Teacher: must be willing to work with all age groups from 6 monthsto 5 years old and the shift will be 7:30am to 3:00pm or 3:30pm, Monday through Friday
- Floater Teacher: $14.30- $17.17 p/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Responsible for the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and curriculum as well as the maintenance of educational portfolios
- Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
- Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education
- Floater Teacher
- REQUIRED
Education:
High School Diploma - REQUIRED Experience:6 months of experience working with children in any capacity (babysitting and nannying welcomed!)

- Must
be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib - Must
meet background check eligibility - Must
be at least 18-years-old
