The Cardiac Sonographer (Echocardiographer) performs all types of Echo/Doppler studies on patients referred by physicians, including calculations and documentation of cardiac parameters for inclusion in appropriate report forms.

Qualifications- High School/GED, trade or vocational school in cardiac ultrasound
- Certification/registration by CCI or Registered Cardiac Sonographer and Reg Dia
- Cardiac Sonographer
- ARDMS
- One to three years experience in cardiac ultrasound
- Must hold and maintain current New Mexico State Licensure under the New Mexico Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Program
- RCS
- RDCS
- BLS certification required at time of hire
