The National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) is seeking a Scientist (Open Rank) to lead the VLBA X-Ka Wideband Receiver Project. The appointee will spend 75% on development and integration tasks with the VLBA Development Team and 25% on an independent research program.
The position is a three-year appointment based in Albuquerque or Socorro, with travel between sites as required; starting salary range is $85,000–$138,000 and eligibility for NRAO’s broad benefits and retirement plans.
