D&Z is accepting resumes for a client augmented Construction Manager (Level 3 ). The position will be located onsite at TVA Sequoyah Nuclear Plant in Soddy Daisy, TN
. Duration is through the fall outage. Successful candidates may have additional work offers beyond this temporary assignment. Position will start ASAP.
Nuclear badging and in-processing will be approx. 2 days in Hollywood, AL.
Oversees outage related construction and field execution activities for maintenance, modification, and/or capital improvement projects. Ensures all outage work is planned, coordinated, and executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with nuclear standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and direct construction activities during scheduled outages, ensuring alignment with outage scope, milestones, and critical-path priorities.
- Coordinate daily outage tasks, monitor progress, and adjust labor and resources to maintain schedule integrity.
- Enforce nuclear safety, human?performance tools, and quality standards in all work activities.
- Supervise craft labor through union craft leadership, providing clear direction and oversight in a high?tempo outage environment.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, maintenance, operations, procurement, and subcontractors to support outage planning and execution.
- Manage outage-related work packages, permits, tagouts, and required inspections.
- Identify and mitigate schedule risks, emergent work, and interface issues that may impact outage duration or plant restart.
- 8+ years of construction or project management experience within power?generation facilities; nuclear outage experience strongly preferred.
- Technical degree or equivalent industrial field experience.
- Knowledge of nuclear outage planning, integrated schedule management, and critical?path work control.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and procedural compliance in a nuclear environment.
In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $96,000- $210,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of union fringes).
