About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Field Service Representative (FSR) to deliver exceptional on‑site technical service as the primary technical liaison between Veolia and our Nuclear Power Customer in Soddy‑Daisy, TN. The FSR will work independently, providing expert installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting services for chemical feed equipment and water treatment systems while building lasting customer relationships through technical excellence.
What You’ll Do- Technical Service & Installation:
Install, commission, and service chemical feed equipment, pumps, controllers, and instrumentation systems at the customer site. - Customer Consultation:
Act as a technical consultant, providing expert recommendations, training, and solutions to customer management and technical teams per contract language. - System Optimization & Troubleshooting:
Perform water analysis, calibrate equipment, program controllers, conduct preventive maintenance, and diagnose/resolve system issues through remote support technologies and on‑site interventions. - Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain detailed service reports, inventory management, and ensure all safety protocols are followed. - Territory Management:
Support one site and provide superior communication with the account manager within the assigned territory, coordinating with sales teams for optimal service delivery.
- Technical degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronic Technology, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline preferred; a high‑school diploma or GED is required.
- 2–5 years of experience in instrumentation & electronics, plant operations/maintenance, or equivalent technical training. Nuclear power experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with water treatment processes and industrial equipment preferred.
- A full valid driver's license and willingness to travel (a learner's permit or G1/G2 class will not qualify).
- Strong troubleshooting abilities for electrical and mechanical systems.
- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted nuclear access (background checks).
- Self‑motivated with an ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Safety‑minded approach with the ability to work in various industrial environments.
- Physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform precision work.
- Computer proficiency and mathematical skills for technical analysis.
- Consistently deliver high‑quality technical service that exceeds customer expectations.
- Successfully complete installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting projects on time.li>
