Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you'll have the opportunity to work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, and your ability to establish retailer relationships while being the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, and support team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed.

• Your starting hourly pay rate will be $13.50–$15.50, depending on your skills and experience.
• Paid training is provided through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom training.

• Position is part‑time with a variable schedule during the work week.
• Average weekly hours range from 2 to 7 hours.
• Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
• Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The position consists of three major components:

• Day‑to‑day engagement:
  Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you will restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products both inside and outside the Hallmark department.
• Holiday support:
  During peak seasons such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, you may be required to work additional days and extended hours, and sometimes on the actual holiday itself.
• Department resets:
  You may join a team responsible for installing or relocating Hallmark fixtures and products, with assignments typically notified two weeks in advance and potentially involving evenings or weekends.

This is a physically demanding job. You must be able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Additional requirements include kneeling, squatting, walking, standing, and occasional climbing stairs or step ladders.

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Competence in operating a digital handheld device to open documents and interpret information.
• Access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
• Reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
