Senior Staff Accountant

A well-established commercial real estate investment and property management company is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to support financial reporting and accounting operations for a diverse portfolio of commercial properties. This position offers exposure to property accounting, lease administration, investor reporting, and asset management while working alongside experienced accounting leadership. Responsibilities

General Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Maintain general ledger accuracy for multiple entities and properties
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules
• Analyze account activity and investigate variances

Property & Real Estate Accounting

• Reconcile CAM, tenant recoveries, and operating expenses
• Assist with lease accounting and tenant billing activities
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Coordinate with property managers regarding financial reporting
• Prepare schedules for audits and tax filings
