A growing professional services company in Solana Beach is looking for a Billing Clerk to join its Accounting team. You'll be responsible for making sure services are accurately captured, invoices go out on time, and customer accounts stay organized.

This is an excellent entry-to-mid-level accounting opportunity for someone coming from billing, customer service, data entry, AP/AR, or an accounting clerk background.

What you'll be doing:

• Prepare and distribute customer invoices
• Enter billing information into the accounting system
• Verify pricing, quantities, rates, and supporting documentation
• Review invoices for accuracy before release
• Process billing adjustments and credits
• Research missing or incorrect billing information
• Maintain customer account records
• Respond to basic billing questions
• Reconcile billing reports to accounting records
• Track outstanding invoices
• Provide documentation to the AR/Collections team
• Assist with month-end billing activities
• Maintain organized electronic billing files
• Support Accounting with special projects
