• Current teacher certification with Special Education endorsement
• Proven experience in a middle school or upper elementary setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with staff, students, and families
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual learning styles
• Organizational skills for managing multiple responsibilities and tracking student progress

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for assigned students
• Deliver direct instruction and support tailored to each student’s unique abilities and goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and support student inclusion
• Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding student growth and needs
• Foster a supportive, positive classroom environment that encourages academic, social, and emotional growth
