Kenai Peninsula College is looking for excellent student workers assist new and returning students and the public ase consider joining this collaborative and innovative team of student services professionals.
We’re looking for students who are dependable, willing to learn, and able to work well with others. Strong communication, time-management, organization, and a positive attitude are valued; previous work experience is not always required.
- General science background preferred.
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to assist in some light, physical work as required
- Ability to work individually and in a diverse team. Attention to detail and organization skills a must. Be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to work well with others. Ability to work independently with a demonstrated interest in the job they are performing.
High School Diploma or GED.
Enrollment Requirements:
- During the academic year, undergraduate students must be taking at least 6 credits.
GPA Requirements:
- Students must have and maintain at least a 2.0 GPA to be employed as a student employee.
Work Schedule Restrictions:
- While classes are in session, students may work up to 20 hours per week.
This recruitment is open to undergraduate students only.
This is a part time position up to 20 hours/week during the semester. This position is located at Kenai Peninsula College in Soldotna Alaska. This job is a Grade 1 Step 8 position which pays $11.88/hour.
