WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:You will Independently process and store evidence for AST A Detachment, maintain chain of custody and integrity of evidence, and complete transfer and disposition of property via destruction, forfeiture to State Surplus, or return to owners. You will act as a liaison between AST and the District Attorney’s office to ensure timely and accurate responses to requests for discovery.

THE WORKING CONDITIONS YOU CAN EXPECT:This position is fast-paced and busy. Office space is shared with one other Criminal Justice Technician, and your work area will also include secure evidence storage locations on site (both indoors and outdoors. This position also may require occasional / infrequent travel to AST posts in Anchor Point or Seward.
