Location:

Jacksonville, FL – Fleming Island (Full‑Time)

• Apply and adjust fiberglass casts, splints, and orthopedic traction equipment per physician orders.
• Educate patients on proper care of casts, splints, and durable medical equipment (DME).
• Maintain knowledge of clinic DME products and indications for use.
• Keep accurate logs and spreadsheets as required by the department.
• Place supply orders according to calculated par levels and clinic needs.
• Collaborate with the Authorization Team to determine patient financial responsibility and communicate with patients.
• Organize and stock received inventory efficiently.
• Monitor inventory levels daily to ensure clinic readiness.
• Report new usage trends to the Practice Manager.
• Assist in other areas of the clinic as needed.

• High school diploma or GED required; completion of a Sports Medicine, Orthopedic Technician, or Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Minimum one year of relevant experience in a medical facility preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to educate patients effectively, and proficiency in inventory management.
• Professionalism and ability to collaborate with staff, communicate clearly with patients, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
