Associate Respiratory Care Practitioner - Providence Anchorage

Description

Under supervision the Respiratory Therapist provides services to patients at PAMC as prescribed by physicians in conjunction with established policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines. Responsible for assessing the patient's respiratory status and recommending appropriate therapies. Implements therapies and evaluates patient response to therapeutic interventions. The Respiratory Therapist accepts and promotes professional development as an integral part of practice. Assesses, analyzes, customizes, coordinates and communicates the patient's plan of care and actively collaborates with other members of the health care team.

Position is full-time, 0.9 FTE, 12-hr Night shifts, 36 hours per week.

• Upon hire:
  National Registered Respiratory Therapist - National Board for Respiratory Care or
• Upon hire:
  National Certified Respiratory Therapist - National Board for Respiratory Care
• Upon hire:
  National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire:
  Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is preferred

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care.
• 1 year clinical experience as Respiratory Therapist.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
