The Arctic Harvest Department Manager for Arctic Harvest Deliveries, a farm‑to‑table distribution business operating under Pacific Alaska Wholesale (PAW), the wholesale arm of The North West Company International (NWCI), is responsible for supporting day‑to‑day warehouse and distribution operations to ensure accurate, timely, and high‑quality order fulfillment. This role supports the business through data management, customer service, logistics coordination, and team oversight, while assisting management with operational execution.

Key Accountabilities Operational Data & Systems
  • Manage operational data systems including customer orders, inventory tracking, product availability, pricing, and KPI reporting
  • Utilize company software systems daily to ensure accuracy of orders, inventory, and marketplace availability
Customer Service
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers via phone and email
  • Resolve customer issues, manage communications, and provide technical support for customer accounts and subscriptions
Logistics & Warehouse Coordination
  • Coordinate daily logistics and warehouse workflow
  • Oversee pulling and packing of orders with an emphasis on quality control and on‑time route departures
Team Coordination & Oversight
  • Support and coordinate a team of approximately 2 employees
  • Promote a cohesive, positive, and efficient team environment
Administrative Support
  • Maintain administrative records, filing systems, and perform basic bookkeeping data entry
Sales & Operational Support
  • Support management with sales follow‑up, wholesale order intake, and additional operational projects as needed
Desired skills & experience
  • Strong computer literacy and data management skills
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with Outlook, Quick Books, and order/inventory management software preferred
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem‑solving skills
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, including conflict resolution
  • Ability to work independently and manage daily task checklists
  • Knowledge of produce, local food systems, or agriculture preferred
Education, Certifications & Licensing
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Additional education in business, logistics, or operations preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required
Working conditions
  • Combination of office‑based computer work and active warehouse duties
  • Frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds on a daily basis
  • Fast‑paced environment requiring adaptability, attention to detail, and frequent multitasking
