Role Summary

We’re looking for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) who wants their work to mean something—a clinician‑leader who brings expertise, accountability, and warmth to the delivery of specialty infusion care. This role supports care delivery in an Ambulatory Infusion Suite / Clinic (AIS/AIC) and is on‑site at one of the listed locations. It is a 32‑hour per week position with schedule and location subject to change based on business needs.

In this role, your work will include:

  • Support clinical teams through leadership, guidance, and best practices

What You’ll Do
  • Develop, implement, and oversee individualized infusion treatment plans, adjusting care as patient needs evolve
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments; prescribe medications, interpret labs, and manage infusion therapies within scope of practice
  • Provide direct patient care, including infusion oversight and clinical decision‑making
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapies, safety, and expectations throughout treatment
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Monitor medication and supply inventory to support safe and efficient clinical operations
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA and payer credentialing
  • Collaborate closely with referring providers, nurses, pharmacists, and administrative partners
  • Lead quality assurance activities, accreditation readiness, and process improvement initiatives
  • Provide mentorship, supervision, and clinical leadership to RNs, LPNs, and clinical support staff
  • Support workflow optimization, staffing coordination, and multi‑site clinical alignment as needed
  • Respond appropriately to patient concerns or medical emergencies within scope of practice
Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • An active, unrestricted NP license in the state of practice
  • DEA registration, state‑controlled substance license, and NPI number
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Strong IV access skills and experience with biologic and specialty medication protocols
  • Experience coordinating patient care, managing inventory, and maintaining regulatory compliance in an outpatient infusion setting
  • Proficiency with EMR documentation and clinical workflow optimization
Preferred Qualifications
  • Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification
  • Three (3) or more years of experience managing patients on specialty infusion therapies
  • Five (5) or more years of infusion therapy experience in an AIS/AIC setting
