The Courtesy Shuttle System serves to transport visitors in a courtesy shuttle bus throughout the entrance area of Denali National Park in a safe, on‑schedule and courteous manner. In addition, transportation is provided between hotel properties and designated stops, including transfers to/from the Park railroad depot. Courtesy Shuttle Drivers are frequently the first and last interaction between a visitor and the company.
The CS Driver position requires a Commercial Driver's License and 1 year of verifiable CDL driving experience.
About Denali National Park & Preserve and Doyon/Aramark Joint Venture:
Summer days in Alaska stretch nearly endlessly, with up to 20 hours of daylight on the Summer Solstice. Spanning 6.2 million acres, Denali National Park & Preserve is home to Denali, the highest peak in North America, and attracts over half a million visitors annually. Conveniently accessible by road—4.5 hours from Anchorage and 2 hours from Fairbanks.
Doyon Limited and Aramark have teamed up in a Joint Venture as the Denali National Park & Preserve's concessionaire. Open May to September, our operation manages the transportation, retail, guest service and food and beverage concessions with our client; the National Park Service. By road, our 100 Blue Bird Bus Fleet takes guests past the 15‑mile public access point daily during summer months, allowing people to hike, view wildlife, climb, and camp where few people have set foot.

Employees are responsible for knowing the environmental aspects and associated impacts of their job position. Job‑specific Environmental Aspects and Impacts will be communicated by department managers during EMS training.
Job Responsibilities- Provide safe and comfortable bus transportation within a congested tourist environment, including travel along a major state highway and slow‑speed pedestrian congested traffic environments.
- Provide professional‑level customer service to all customers.
- Record specific ridership information as required by dispatch operations.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to specific uniform and grooming standards.
- Employee is responsible for general knowledge of corporate environmental policies and procedures and how they relate to their job functions. Corporate policies and procedures are posted on bulletin boards or can be accessed at myaramark intranet.
- Employee is responsible for knowing the environmental aspects and associated impacts of their job position. Job‑specific Environmental Aspects and Impacts will be communicated by department managers during EMS training.
- Environmental objectives and targets will be communicated by department managers for each department during EMS training.
- Assist guests with inquiries about the property/area; facilitate guided tours where applicable.
- Maintain cleanliness, fuel management, and perform inspections on vehicle.
- Adhere to policies and procedures regarding emergency and accident procedures and radio protocol.
- Perform all job duties in a safe manner by adhering to all driving regulations, company safety policies and procedures, and DOT regulations.
- Maintain a friendly, efficient, and positive demeanor towards guests, clients, and co‑workers.

Qualifications- One year of experience as a CDL driver.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Must possess a valid Class A or B CDL with passenger endorsement.
- Minimum of 23 years of age.
- No suspension of driving privileges for moving violations in the past three years.
- Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
