We’re seeking a detail-oriented AP Clerk to manage invoice processing, payments, and vendor records for a growing team. The role is contract/temporary for at least 2-3 months before deciding on making the candidate permanent. Medical benefits and sick pay available through Hoxton Circle during the contract phase.
Key responsibilities- Process invoices end-to-end: intake, three-way match (PO/receipt/invoice), coding, approvals, and posting
- Maintain vendor records (W-9 collection, 1099 classification) and support year-end 1099-NEC
- Reconcile AP subledger to the general ledger; research and resolve discrepancies
- 2+ years of hands-on Accounts Payable experience, including month-end in agriculture or manufacturing.
- Solid understanding of AP best practices, basic GAAP concepts, and 1099 requirements
- BA or AA degree in Accounting highly desired.
