Position: ANALYST I
Job Description and Duties

Under the direction of the Supervisor I, the Analyst I, is an entry first journey level analyst assisting in planning, developing, and coordination specialized projects and assignments. Work at this level is to be completed with supervision and review. Acts as the back-up to the Position Control Analyst. The Analyst I must have knowledge of the hiring and appointment process in accordance with California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) and the Department's hire process.

Screens applicants for employment and interprets and applies minimum qualifications.
