GENERAL DESCRIPTION:Under the direction of the Production Supervisor and PMO Lead, this position is responsible to operate all Hayssen and Triangle packaging equipment in a safe and responsible manner following the Packaging Machine Operator SOP.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION:- Operate all Hayssen and Triangle packaging equipment
- Able to work around machinery and equipment
- Perform forming tube changeovers (7”,8”,9”,10”, 2lbs,3lbs,and 5lbs)
- Ability to operate Yamato and Ishida scales
- Maintain the area clean
- Requires extensive problem solving skills
- Paperwork duties
- Must be capable of performing quality checks, product changeover, re-supplying of film.
- Employees must adhere to all policies, practices, and SOP’s related to producing Safe Quality Food (SQF)
- Comply with Food Safety Requirements and GMPs as applicable to this position.
- Comply with other duties as assigned by Lead or Supervisor
