THE ROLE
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, repairing and diagnosing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:

· Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance

· Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults

· Completing mechanical and electrical repairs

· Working on suspension, steering, brakes and wheel bearings

· Carrying out driveshaft and exhaust repairs

· Air conditioning servicing

· Using modern diagnostic equipment to identify faults

· Carrying out additional repairs and maintenance where required

· Fitting approved vehicle accessories

· Completing vehicle health checks and reporting findings

· Completing all required service and repair documentation

· Working to manufacturer repair and quality standards

· Working closely with the wider workshop team

· Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment
 
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an experienced technician with:

· NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

· Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic

· Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge

· Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability

· Experience carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs

· Ability to work to a high standard and achieve a strong first-time fix rate

· Full UK driving licence

· Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
EV/Hybrid qualification would be advantageous but is not essential, with training available.
MOT Tester Licence is beneficial but not essential.
