As an Installation Support Tech, you will provide technical support at any of our brick and mortar, mobile, or on-site locations at an OEM prestige motor manufacturer in Solihull.
The right person will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Be a proactive problem solver and strives to be an integral part of the team and the success of the company. There is a 90-day probationary period. Career progression opportunities available.
Core Duties Move vehicles around installation facility
Organize and keep tidy install bays
Keep installation bays stocked with supplies and parts
Prepare parts for application
Assist installers with finalizing installation
Clean/wipe down vehicles to prepare them for application and delivery
Assist the team with day-to-day tasks
Perform final quality inspections on outgoing vehicles
Basic Qualifications Must have a current and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. This position requires the handling and driving of exclusive customer vehicles. Candidates aged 25 years or older are strongly preferred and must hold a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Must have a reliable mode of transportation and the ability to be on time Ability to comfortably and safely drive high-end vehicles
Must work well with others and have good team building skills
Must be able to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment
Adherence to deadlines
Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity
Must be able to lift 45 lbs.
Must be able to kneel and bend for quality checking
Overtime / working in shifts may be required
Full-time, Permanent Shift Requirement:
This position requires working in a rotating shift schedule.
Morning
Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM Afternoon
Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PMShifts will rotate every two weeks. Flexibility to work both shifts is essential.
