Salary: $100,000 + $125,000 + Annual Bonus of up to 15% + Benefits

Our client, a global leader in manufacturing solutions, is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their team at their Cleveland, Ohio, facility. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing production costs, maintaining standard costing systems, and providing financial insights that drive operational efficiency and profitability. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and a strong ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations for cross-functional teams.
To be successful, you must be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator who can partner across departments to support cost control and continuous improvement initiatives. - Maintain and update standard costs in the ERP system
- Analyze cost variances and provide actionable insights
- Support monthly close and inventory valuation
- Develop cost models for pricing and margin improvement
- Prepare reports on manufacturing costs and efficiency
- Ensure GAAP compliance and support audits
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting for cost structures
- Reconcile inventory transactions and support cycle counts
- Identify cost-saving opportunities with operations
- Analyze waste, scrap, and efficiency trends
- Partner with teams to improve financial transparency
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing setting required
- Standard costing, inventory control, and variance analysis experience required
- Ability to work 100% onsite required
