The Health and Wellness Strategist will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance the health and wellness programs for our organization. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure the effective delivery of health and wellness benefits, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The emphasis will be on promoting overall wellness, covering financial, mental, emotional, and physical health, including retirement plans, Swagelok Health Clinic, wellness incentives, and time off policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Strategy Development:
Works with leadership and Sr. Health and Welfare Strategist to design and implement health and welfare benefits strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.Program Management:
Oversee the administration of retirement, Swagelok Health Clinic, EAP, virtual health and ancillary benefit programs.Compliance:
Ensures assigned programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including ERISA, ACA, and HIPAA. Act as a liaison with Finance in the preparation of federal filings and compliance reports.Vendor Management:
Manage relationships with vendors and consultants, ensuring high-quality service delivery and cost-effectiveness.Global Benefits:
Acts as consultant for global benefits programs for manufacturing and corporate remote employees.Employee Communication:
Develop and execute communication plans to educate employees about their health and welfare benefits.Industry Knowledge:
Maintain current knowledge of industry benefit practices via professional associations and training.Data Analysis:
Analyze benefits data to identify trends, measure program effectiveness, and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.Budget Management:
Support in developing and managing the budget for health and welfare benefits programs, ensuring cost control and financial sustainability.Employee Support:
Provide support to HR Support teams and employees regarding benefit programs, by keeping them educated on offerings.Research and Analysis:
Conduct research and analysis of benefit programs and advise management on methods for improvement.Assists with ad hoc project work as requested
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in health and welfare benefits management or a related field.
Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills. Proficiency in benefits administration software and Microsoft Office Suite.
