Customer Account Representative

Location: Solon, OH. Hybrid (Remote Mon/Thurs/Fri | In-office Tues/Wed + As Needed)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $20–$23/hour (Based on experience)

Start Date: ASAP

A leading company in the flooring and surfaces industry is seeking a Customer Account Representative with strong B2B experience, order or account management skills, and excellent computer proficiency—including SAP and Excel. This is a 90‑day temporary position with the potential for extension or hire, depending on performance and business need.

• Respond to customer inquiries: order status, product details, account updates, and delivery timelines
• Accurately process orders via EDI, phone, email, and fax using SAP
• Coordinate with logistics to provide freight quotes and shipping timelines
• Collaborate with Sales, Credit, Marketing, and Production to resolve issues
• Track inventory, identify product availability, and locate out-of-stock materials
• Ship product samples as needed
• Support billing, credit, and transportation inquiries across departments
• Ensure customer satisfaction through professional and timely follow‑up

• B2B Customer Service experience required
• SAP and Excel proficiency required
• Strong order or account management background
• Excellent communication skills—written and verbal
• Comfortable working across departments and managing multiple tasks
• Minimum 3 years in a customer‑facing or client‑support role
• High school diploma required; AA or BA degree preferred
• Strong attention to detail and a problem‑solving mindset
